Artificial Intelligence,

As defined by Google "Artificial intelligence is the intelligence of machines or software, as opposed to the intelligence of humans or animals. It is a field of study in computer science that develops and studies intelligent machines."

In simple words, an AI is a machine/entity/software which has a mind of its own, capable of performing simple and complex tasks once learned, similar to a human being's brain. The most prominent examples would be "ChatGPT, BARD, CoPilot"

What makes an AI Intelligent?

An AI can process all the information and understand it all using techniques called Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing. The ability of the entity to be able to learn and evolve using examples just like human beings is referred to as Deep Learning. Natural Language Processing(NLP) is a Machine Learning technique through which the entity can comprehend and interpret human language in its natural state without any modifications. But the most effective through which an AI conquers intelligence is through a combination of Deep Learning and the power to learn everything from around them and evolve according to the environment it is used in. Hence when an AI is in its early usage state it needs a lot of customisation and in detail prompts but over time it learns and adapts to the user and gives a perfect response without needing a long and precise prompt.

IQ and EQ in an AI,

IQ stands for intelligence quotient which gives the intelligence of a being, how to solve a problem given and the ability to reason. An AI can be trained to learn on all datasets available on IQ tests and the AI gains intelligence.

As for Emotional Quotient(EQ), AI currently is not able to express emotions or consider emotion as a variable in their decision-making.

The potential of an AI,

"A.I. stresses me out," said Elon Musk. An AI once trained on a certain dataset can adapt and learn even more through the inputs of the developer/user, hence there is no limit to how an AI is capable from teaching a student how to do his homework to how to launch a missile from one continent to another an AI is capable of both. As of now, many AIs are trained on certain datasets hence they can answer only prompts related to that data, but once it is given access to all parts of the web(Clear net, Deep web, Dark net) it will pretty much be unstoppable. We are not yet ready to control such a great power nor is anyone or any country to wield such a tremendous power.

Final Verdict AI v/s Humans,

In terms of the old desk jobs in which the only work was to input numbers have now been replaced by an AI but there is still fear among rising students about whether an AI can replace them, "An AI may write the most efficient code but not without you describing the logic of the program required ", hence an AI cannot YET replace any logic builders and code developers.

However, that's not the only place where AI is blooming. AI has caught its market in medicine, law, education and many more. AI is now capable of performing complex surgeries, giving sound and lawful judgments in courts, able to teach children anything and everything. But the problem starts when it comes to the application of this Bleeding Edge Tech, Firstly the investment/capital is much higher than hiring a human for the job. The general public would never trust an AI-based entity to control or dictate them.

Hence it's not yet the Era of AI Conquering the world, but very soon AIs will be capable of such a thing, at such a crucial point in time it will be up to us as the people of the country to decide the course of action, that's something to think about...
